Power Words

Certain words pack a whole lot of punch.  One word might inspire a powerful message, evoke a powerful emotion, or ignite a powerful connection.

One morning, as I journaled, I found myself searching for a world, yes, one single word that would express three actions:   to PRAY, to PRAISE, to PREACH.
           
 Here is my list:
  1. Jesus
  2. Help
  3. Need
  4. Give
  5. Now
  6. Mercy
  7. Forgive
  8. Deliver
  9. Change
  10. Trust
  11. Presence
  12. Peace
  13. Able
  14. Walk
  15. Done
These are my words.  What are yours?

    Presence - I used to consider "Presence" to be a reminder to be still - to listen and feel. Reflecting on some recent experiences have reminded me that "Presence" may also serve as a PREPARATORY state for impending action.

    I note the range of parts of speech, too: nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs. Hmmm...I feel a poem coming on! :)
